Vaccine Research, Development & Product
The Vaccine Research, Development and Policy (RDP) unit within the WHO Department of Immunization, Vaccines and Biologicals (IVB) provides global leadership on vaccine innovation, research, development, evaluation, and policy guidance.
Roadmaps
Roadmaps
Vaccine development technology or R&D roadmaps are pathogen-specific, developed in collaboration with global stakeholders and aim to highlight priority activities to accelerate the pathway to licensure, availability and access in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The target audience is vaccine researchers, funders and product developers. Roadmaps have been developed for several pathogens and can be accessed under ‘Research by disease’.
